I am educated as a designer, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Carnegie Mellon's School of Design. I have spent several years as an Art Director in the newspaper industry, working under heavy loads and tight deadlines. During that time, I did other design projects on the side, and continued honing my handcraft skills that were influenced by my mother.
